The Studio walls and ceiling have a second layer of sheetrock separated with sound deadening glue to both keep the sound in for parties and the sound out for recordings. The “W” shaped ceiling and the Acoustic panels on the walls help deaden sound reflections in the space. The French doors leading to the exterior BBQ are paned with special double layered acoustic glass to further the sound sealing properties. The interior doors from the studio towards the master bedroom and the control room have sound seals around the edges and on the bottom of each door. Parties in the studio with the sound cranked have not been a problem with the neighbors.
